Safest City in America
We are now statistically the safest city in America! No more parking lot gangs and intersection takeovers – I worked with the Police Chief to get the JCPD the tools they needed to shut that nonsense down fast. We have no tolerance for breaking the law in Johns Creek!
Lowest Taxes Possible
I’m the only Mayor in Georgia that builds the budget on the rollback millage rate. This requires the Council to be more accountable and transparent in justifying any additional spending. Johns Creek now has the lowest millage rate by far of any city in Fulton County. We are getting more done for our community and the City is stronger financially than ever before in our history.
Town Center nearing Completion
As promised, our Town Center is under construction and will open in 2026. Our Town Center is being built largely with private sector investment. It will be uniquely Johns Creek and appropriate in size and scale for our hometown. This will be a civic hub for our community's enjoyment and will benefit property values.
More Parks - Better Parks
We opened Cauley Creek Park and have doubled our park acreage. Many additional park and recreational improvements have been made throughout our city with more to come as we continue to implement the recommendations outlined in our Parks Master Plan.
Transportation Improvements Delivered
We completed many sidewalks, trails, and traffic improvement projects throughout Johns Creek. We also brought our Public Works department in house to better serve Johns Creek taxpayers. I will continue to demand that all of our ongoing road projects be completed quickly and efficiently with as little inconvenience to our residents as possible.

Johns Creek has been named the best city to live in America!
We were named the best city to live in and also the statistically SAFEST city in America by US News and World Report. I’m very proud of the recognition that our city has received, but we still have plenty to do to continue to make our community even better. We will not rest on our laurels!

Keep public safety as my top priority.
Continue fiscal restraint by budgeting based on the rollback rate. The City must live within our means.
Encourage only smart, strategic growth.
Reform and streamline city codes, permits and regulations to be more reasonable and friendly to residents and businesses.
Prioritize further improving the quality of our services, customer service in general, and better communications with residents and businesses to ensure that the most valuable information reaches the widest possible audience.
Explore alternatives for funding and management of our large community events including expanded sponsorships and other private support.
Continue building greater community with a fantastic celebration of America's 250th Birthday, our own Johns Creek postal zone, and expanded youth sports and adult recreational opportunities.

John Bradberry was sworn in as Johns Creek Mayor in January 2022. His time in office has been marked by great success and momentum in moving the city forward.
Did you know?
The City of Johns Creek has the lowest millage rate of any city in Fulton County. Mayor Bradberry is the only mayor in Georgia (that we known of) that builds the budget based on the rollback rate, making it easier for the city to live within its means and requiring Council to justify any proposed additional spending.
Johns Creek also enjoys a “Triple A” bond rating by the major credit agencies!
